The Assyrain's had a society based on monarchy with many diffrent social classes. On the top of the classes was the king, then the scribes, artisans, poets and musicans, farmers and slaves were the lowest class. These classes put order into place by keeping eveybody in their place. The assyrian society was based strongly on warfare, art, and achitecture. Religion also played a role in their society. Assyrian women played a large role in Assyrian society, being made as equals and companions to their husbands. This type of behavior had never been seen in the ancient world before.
